Doctrine of the WORD:
The Holy Bible is the ultimate source of truth and instruction. As such, it is our foremost guide in all decisions made in our lives and in our Church. “All scripture has been breathed by God and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and righteousness, ” (2 Tim. 3:16). We teach straight from the Word to equip the saints for the work of ministry.
Doctrine of God:
We believe in ONE eternally existent God and His name is Yahweh. He is the one who was, is, and always will be. He is a triune God whose essence has been revealed to us as three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Each part of Him has distinct attributes but there is only one God. (Mark 1:9-11)
Doctrine of Revelation:
God makes Himself known to us through Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Scriptures, and creation. Every person who has accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord and been filled with His Holy Spirit has the ability and right to hear God’s voice for themselves. (Gen. 1:1, John 1:1, John 1:14)
Doctrine of Humanity:
In the beginning, Yahweh, the God of Creation, made man and woman in His image. We are all invited to find our identity in Him through adoption as His daughters and sons. We believe that all humanity is created in God’s image thus possessing intrinsic dignity and worth. (Gen. 1:27)
Doctrine of Sin:
We believe God is the only one who is truly good, and we trust in His determination between good and evil. In the beginning, humanity was endowed with the freedom of choice, but we chose to determine between good and evil for ourselves. The result was sin entering into the world which introduced brokenness into all creation. This has left all mankind in desperate need of redemption through Christ Jesus. (Gen. 3)
Doctrine of Redemption and Salvation:
Humanity broke its original covenant with the Creator when we chose to trust in our own plan. The only way to restore the covenant and bring us back into His family is through redemption. We believe ONLY salvation through Jesus Christ redeems us into communion with God as His children and this is all through faith by His grace and mercy. ( Romans 8,9,10...)
Doctrine of the Church ( the called-out ones ):
We believe the church in all its messiness is the vehicle chosen by God to bring hope and the message of salvation to all who will receive it. We believe in the oneness of the body of Christ as Jesus prayed for in John 17 and Matthew 12:21.
Doctrine of the Mission of the Church:
Overarching focus of the church is to make disciples that will make disciples. (2 Timothy 2:2 and Matthew 28:18-20)
